Textures


For this project, we wanted a stylized look for our assets. Many assets needed to be handpainted after having the base textures applied to achieve the look we wanted. We decided to use a filter on our texture maps to also help emphasize the style. The models were textured in Adobe Substance Painter and edited in Adobe Photoshop. The hand painting was using done in those two softwares as well.

Using this method gives us the look we want with the main downside being obviously how time-consuming it is to texture each individual asset.
